It's a little better than X but not very much IMO. There's a whole truckload of legendaries to catch if you're into that kind of thing. Didn't X only have Xerneas, Mewtwo, and Zygarde? Well, besides that, X's Battle Maison is back (Battle Tree) and there's some post-champion story stuff that reminds me of ORAS's Delta Episode.

And if you like story I'd definitely not suggest playing the original ones before or after having done so because US/UM's story is mostly nonsense and destroys the proper character development S/M has for characters like Lusamine.

without spoiling, it has a pretty decent amount of stuff to do. some people were pretty disappointed by it but i personally liked it alot
