I mean just look at what's been happening. Eevee getting a whole bunch of attention recently merchandise everywhere and then bam Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu. Take a look at the comment section of any video related to the games and you'll find a whole bunch of kids saying that they're Team Eevee because Pikachu is overrated. Eevee itself is a terrible Pokemon and is more overrated because all these kids refuse to believe that it isn't.
