My opinion on some of these:

Why is it that some of these still look god-ugly? You'd think that the anime would've set a precedence on all Gen I pokémon. Hell, some of these are just recycled from RB.

Man, and here I thought that Gen IV relied too much on older pokémon to make new ones. At least some of the pokémon there got some benefits to it. These babies probably wouldn't have made the regular pokémon any justice.

I doubt this thing may be related to Mantine. I meant, it's not even a manta ray, it's a flying fish with a creepy face in the back.
>193: a ghost, possibly the precursor to misdreavus (scrapped)
I'm inclined to believe the ghost was a pre-evo for beta Girafarig because of the two faces on it.

That thing is a nest with three bird heads.
Probably just a pre-evo for Doduo.

I'm wondering how good or bad they would've been in competitive had they made the cut.

I'd say these two are based on a yeti because of the design.
