Well, it doesn't works in the GB Tower becasue the GB Tower isn't emulated by any emulator.

But I believe if it does have a saved game, the game may recognize it.

The game is recognized but, at least on emulators, it's inacessible, as it can't produce a save file and the GB Tower is not emulated.
