Got it in the hatching pools, HYPE

I didn't count but this was roughly egg 300-350

Funny enough, Beldum was the first MM shiny I've ever hatched back in XY. But then, the ORAS shiny Beldum mystery gift lessened its value a bit, I still love it

I never got the appeal of it , injecting is faster , the Mon doesn't even has perfect stats to being with

IMO shiny hunting would be way more exciting if shiny mons had perfect IVs guaranteed

Perfect IVs vary by pokemon. All 31 is hardly perfect for most mons, actually.

Listen, I get injecting is easier, and I'm ok with it if you are trying to get a stronk pokemon, but injecting shinies is just ass. People don't always try to obtain shiny pokemon to have them be the strongest pokemon possible, they hunt for them because of the challenge and reward of obtaining rare pokemon. If the shinies are strong, then that is just the added bonus. Injecting shinies defeats the whole purpose.

5IV is considered perfect anyways, and not many mons need both attack and spatk

I kinda see your point, you want it because is a small chance to get it.
I think personally injecting is way faster since the value is subjective but I respect your point of view.

5iv 31 is still not necessarily perfect, considering all the mons that use HP, all the mons that want five 31s and one 0, or 0 Spe, or certain IVs for HP. It's a lot harder to manipulate those while still hunting for shinies

It's objectively faster, but humans aren't creatures of objectivity. If they were, everyone would just use gamesharks or pokesav themselves right to the end of the game with max money all items complete dex, were they to even play vidya in the first place. There's an individually experienced "reward" from dumping time and effort into doing a thing, no matter how trivial it may seem to someone else.
