"I have to say that the first generation as primitive it can be, it's actually better than XY and SM, the combat can be bad but the single player experience is superior, it doesn't require shitty cinematics to tell us the story, the story is in the gameplay, if the player wants to know more about the lore they have to explore each corner to the game to get some clues, something that SM fails because it feel to be in rails and you don't have a choice to go more further than the intended. The main villain is also better constructed in comparison to XY and SM."
Your thoughts on this? I think Giovanni is bland compared to Lusamine. S/M was made in a time where Japanese gamers prefer linear and story-driven games.
