>waaah waaah, I'm such an impatient fuck that I'm going to bitch and tantrum about Nintendo releasing a side game for toddlers and casuals
>THIS IS A MAIN GAME IT IS IT IS
>IT'S RUINING THE FRANCHISE
>EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE IMPLIMENTED IN FUTURE GAMES
>CASUALS ARE RUINING MY GAMES INTENDED FOR LITERAL CHILDREN REEEEE
Ignoring the fact this is a side game like fucking Pokemon Channel and Detective Pikachu, the changes are so fucking miniscule and only make the game more engaging.
Besides, Pokemon have been visible for years and Sun/Moon/USUM have more than half of the wild encounters fucking visible one way or another whether it's a bump on the ground, a tussle in the grass, a shadow in a tree, or the actual Pokemon just standing there waiting for you to approach it.
We know you use the same Pokemon with the same one or two moves to catch everything, it isn't remotely engaging. Now you actually need some skill to aim the ball, so how the fuck is making catching Pokemon more complicated and rewarding "casualizing it"? Because you can't spend 300 hours fighting the same wild encounter to grind EV points and shit? Fuck you.
