Where are them? They were from like the same time of GS Beta. Hitmontop from the leaked game was much more like today hitmontop than this pink shit. Tyranitar already was a thing and a scrapped Carracosta too.

This was back when Sugimori was just fucking around with designs anyway. Hell Mew wasn't even intended to be caught in-game. I bet there's a myriad of designs that he made that'll never be used

Hell that little fuckhead looks less like Hitmontop than what's in the beta. It probably means it wasn't ever intended to be related at all

I get the feeling Sugimori really wanted a spinning top Pokemon but wasn't quite sure how to implement it.
And I wish it'd stayed seperate, never really worked as part of the Hitmon line for me.
