>>35757355>unironically looks very similar to the 3ds games in citra except HDthis. very this.
>>35757406>Gamefreak should just make a full pet simulator game, like Nintendogs except with Pokemon, for the fans like you.no lie, put it on smartphone and they'll be making more money than they ever did with GO. People love Amie, they love following pokemon, they pretty clearly want pokemon as virtual pets more than as battle monsters.
Heck, if Neopets decided to rise out of its shallow grave and stop spinning its wheels in 2004 it could steal the niche away from pokemon so fast and it's basically a dead brand.
With the full weight of the pokemon name... i mean, look at how far it pushed niantics incredibly poorly designed trash. How do you make a pokemon game that doesn't allow for player-player interactivity or bonding with a persistent team of pokebros? That's the only things it does better than every other rpg! Bonding between players and to virtual animals is the sole thing that differentiated it and made it skyrocket in popularity. Its the core inspiration! The fun Sugimori had as a kid wasn't watching insects smack into each other, he could have done that on his own, no, it was cheering on HIS beetle, the one he caught and raised, and doing it alongside his friends
Just combine Amie, Dreamworld, and the pokewalker into a smartphone app and the world will be knocking at your door. If you actually polish it, make it good quality instead of the afterthoughts all three of those features were, they might have to give it its own dedicated server for the app store to keep it from permenantly crashing from all the download requests. The mainline games may get good again in 2019, the rpg side of the franchise may have died like three or four gens ago and will have its rotting corpse weekend at bernies-ed around for the rest of its afterlife and SM is my last pkmn game, but even if it were the phoned-in amalgamation I would still play this app in a heartbeat.
