Anyone else have this growing up? The dick jokes and such have imprinted in my mind ever since I was a kid.

It was a 90's game guide with no affiliation with nintendo so they got away with whatever they wanted. I sadly don't own it anymore, been thinking of buying it for nostalgia eventually, but one line I remember was in the lavender town section where they dedicated a paragraph to the fact that ultra balls are called ultra balls with as many testicle jokes as possible.

This reminds me of one of those dumb kids magazines I used to get monthly that were really bizarre and just talked about gaming/cartoon news. I swear on my LIFE there was one edition I got that had a page on female video game characters, and there were whole paragraphs dedicated to how much different they woudl look if they had giant tits and asses. I swear. I think my mum found it at one point and threw it out. It was so jarring and weird to read because the other ones I had only just touched on fart jokes and sometimes crass humour

Didn't have that one, but I had the Pokemon Snap guide by the same publisher. I do remember seeing the cover for that one on an advertisement inside the back cover.
I remember it had a photo of Muk with a caption like, "Is he giving the finger?!" but that's about it.

I didn't have this one, but I had another unofficial strategy guide. For whatever reason it listed the Japanese name for Muk, so I went around the Pokemon Mansion trying to find some mysterious Pokemon called Betobeton.

Fuck, these covers are opening the memory floodgates. It was either this or OP's that had real weird shit in the Pokedex, like Omastar's picture missing with the caption that said "camera shy". And Victreebel had a level 1 move called "Happakatta" and I was mad that I couldn't get this 'secret move' for myself.

I had this one. Still have it, somewhere, without a cover. I really liked this book, despite all the blatant errors. Recently bought another copy and a copy of the Gold and Silver translation guide that someone took and wrote the english names of all the new pokemon into. Despite the shittiness, I actually liked the layout and format, and I kinda wish they made another one at some point.
