Anyone else here thinking about how different the series would have been moving forward if the beta mons for GSC got through? I mean you got things like a Ditto evolution which would otherwise seem unfathomable nowadays and then there's Pinsir getting an evolution and retaining the counterpart to Scyther or Tangrowth and Leafeon in Gen 2. Not to mention how the design philosophy might have been different moving forward.
