>>35761384So if I'm interpreting this right, in the beta when Chikorita evolved, it essentially rooted itself into the ground and had its head split open into flower petals. When the beta Bayleef evolved, it uprooted itself, regrew a head in the middle of the flower, and became more saurian. Really weird - I much prefer what we got over this, though at least this explains where Meganium got its random antennae from - they're actually the stamen from its original previous evolution.
