>>35767071Underage? The game pretty much spells out for you that you beat your rival at the end of the game because you treat your Pokemon as friends and give them respect.
The other trainers in the game lose to you and their Pokémon are low leveled in comparison because they treat them poorly with whips and stuff. Sabrina is the exception, but she doesn't even much like to fight for some reason despite being a gym leader so she's inconsistent anyway.
