Im sure what he means is that fire type and fire type moves acted as special type attacks
His only form of stab wouldn't work as much because they would be counted as special attacks
I'm assuming if it was actually implemented it would have had some form of sp. atk to use

It basically would have been Feraligator, but probably worse due to the type difference. Sure, it would have had a strong slash and earthquake, but that would be counteracted by lower special attack and speed.
