Fossil Fighters came out about the same time as Platinum and is considered equal or even better than it in every way except graphics.
The first sequel, Champions, was just the same game but with a worse story, better graphics, and better or worse gameplay depending on your tastes. The second sequel, Frontier, was just garbage and now we're never going to get another one because it sold so poorly.
