AZ's team consists of a Pokemon known for its longevity (Torkoal is a turtle), a Pokemon that is robot/golem thing (Golurk) and looks like ancient geoglyphs (Sigilyph).

This is because he'll never die so of course he picks things with long lifespan.

Octillery, Emboar, and Tyranitar all have something in common.
They can learn at least one offensive move that is super effective to their types that other Pokemon of its type normally can't (Octillery has Charge Beam and Bullet Seed, among other Electric and Grass types, Emboar has Surf and Zen Headbutt, and Tyranitar can learn Focus Blast and Surf)

headcanon:

unown create and render the pokeworld from their own parallel universe.

willpower influences them.
examples:

- if a pokemon gains enough experience it evolves.
- If a pokemon needs to rescue someone it can evolve out of pure willpower.
- if a pokemon wants to attack with fire they spawn it for it.
- if a pokemon loves another an egg might appear.
(yes the day care never lied to you: they really got no idea how it appeared)

Reposting an ancient headcanon of mine:

Arceus isn't a singular entity, but an interdimensional hivemind of identical Pokemon that exist across time and space (shaped the universe with its "thousand arms"). Unown are carriers or conduits of somekind that focus its power.

Zangoose still can't learn Cut,
Inc*neroar can't learn Fire Lash or Sucker Punch.
Zangoose and Litten instead learn Giga Drain and Leech Life.

Meowth and Persian are pretty much the only feline line without Quick Attack or Sucker Punch despite being sneaky hunters as well.

I'm so done with this bullshit.
