Every game, for every system, the respective defense force comes out of the woodwork and starts spouting this brainless rhetoric, which has been proven false time and time again.
When was the last time a game suddenly looked significantly better, in the last couple months of its development cycle? Changing things like overall graphical direction, lighting system, a large number of animations?
When was the last time all of the grievances aired by players of the demo, I mean "beta", were magically fixed just before launch?
Never, and it will take a number of these harsh realizations before the drones will learn: the power of your faith alone isn't enough to make your wishes come true. Unfortunately, at the same time, a new generation of stupid kids graduate to naive fans, and the cycle repeats.
It will look shit as ever at launch. Mark my words.
