XY were overhyped and disappointed a lot of people. Same with ORAS, SM and USUM.
Is hystory going to repeat itself with LGPE and, possibily Gen 8 games?

nobody is actually hyped for Lets Go, though, aside of the casuals
also xy and sm were good, even if less than expected
