Those saying the pink town in the gen 2 beta map looks like a proto-sunnyshore city; explain. They don't look the same to me at all.

It's because they are based on the same real life locations, Gold 97 is Japan as a whole so it took a slice of what later would become Sinnoh.

True, this one doesn't look like Sunyshore at all, and any resemblance it has with it is mostly coincidental. However there's no way Canalave City isn't based off of High Tech.

Huh? you don't mean geographically do you? Sunnyshore seems close in relation to Nemuro, whereas pink town fits with around Tokushima
