There could have been 2 versions of the hack, one that remains the original balance and one that actually unfucks the game. Lots of hacks do that for the guys that want to have legal pokemons for trading and online
Also, there's really no reason to not rush through the gyms. TMs could have been nice rewards for exploring the map, but instead, you can just buy them all in the store
Yeah, you can explore if you want, but unless you're going for specific shit like Lapras and Tyrogue, you're just wasting your time
