How do I git gud at competitive? The only tier I'm any good at is AG because baton pass speed boost scolipede into mega fug breaks that tier I think.

I want to git gud at OU but I've never gotten my ELO over 1300. How do I get it high up like you motherfuckers claim to have it?

You don't, Pokémon and especially showdown is garbage as competitibe, don't waste your time trying to get good at something worthless. If you want real competence, go for another game.

either make good teams or copy someone else's teams and go from there. i personally like to make a team centered around a mon (usually a gimmick) or i build around a core of mons. also you need to have some game sense in game and in team building (i.e. knowing ur wincon at the start of a match and what ur team auto loses to, respectively)
