Let's assume that everything in the trailers and press releases is going to be in the final game. So that means there will be no wild battles, catching Pokemon is now a Go-esque minigame, we're rethreading Kanto, only one entirely new Pokemon, etc. etc.

If all this were true, what else would it take to convince you to buy it? Or is it a lost cause at this point?
