Pokemon was never complex or hard to beat in the first place. I don't see why since X/Y game freak has decided to gradually dumb the games down. But, if the Lets Go series is intended for newer and more casual players, maybe the gen 8 games will return to the less handholdy experience of before. I hope so, at least.
