Can someone explain to me why GameFreak wont add the cross gen evos. I'm not saying all of them, but why not the ones that evolve by happiness like Crobat, Blissey, Espeon, Umbreon, etc.?

It would be a great way to refresh Kanto and make things feel new and interesting.

Because it will make it too confusing for Go players even though they've been familiar with Johto and Hoenn pokemon for over a year.

I don't think it would be cramped in Kanto, considering how many trainers have repeat Pokemon. Think about how adding Glaceon, for example, would actually give Lorelei more Ice Types, as well as give Bruno Hitmontop and Lance Kingdra. You could have a very diverse, fleshed out roster for trainers.
