Too many fucking babies.
Some of the final designs shit are a lot better than the betas – the finals of Mantine, Delibird, Elekid, Murkrow and the legendary beasts are all wildly better than their beta versions.
I'd love to see some of them as regional forme differences down the line – unlikely this will ever happen, mind – but the abolished region is potentially more interesting than what we got in the end. With a strong emphasis on 'potential' – considering this represents a literal dead-end in that they were struggling to be able to fit more data in, we're likely to be disappointed by the eventual translation of the flavor text, etc. since it's going to be unclear whether things 'cut off' because it's an unfinished demo, because they were struggling to find the space for it, or otherwise.
