Masuda confirmed LGPE Kanto is going to be pretty much identical to Yellow's Kanto. Tell me what kind of postgame Yellow had outside of Mewtwo.
Furthermore, the fact that there are only 151 Pokemon means you'll complete the Pokedex in record time (even faster if you just import from GO) and a simplified battling system means it'll be abandoned in like 2 weeks. No breeding is also confirmed, so like, tell me, what is there to do?

I'd be happy to have them but knowing Game Freak they probably won't do it. Adding them to LGP/E is easy since you only have to do it for 151 pokemon. As of gen VII there are 804 pokemon and who knows how many the 2019 releases will add.
