Inspired by the Mini-Kanto from beta Gold & Silver, I did the same thing except with Johto. I did my best to keep all the important areas.

Feels a lot better compared to the Kanto one overall, since I think you managed to keep more detail in a lot of spots. I do feel like the national park would benefit from having a walkway encircling the grass, but that's a minor nitpick. Very cool anon.

Cherrygrove is the regular Pokecenter while Goldenrod is the PokeCom center. Since the Battle Tower uses a different tileset than all the other Johto makes I wasn't able to get those graphics over.

i think one reason is because most of the locations in Johto are more easier to handle since is more simple, as long you keep the structure of the region in one city with the important stuff like the towers or the lake it could work quite well.

Very good.
But it needs the Ilex Forest Shrine and the National park needa to be shaped like a pokeball.
A bigger tin tower would be good too.

Whoever made the notes missed that "Blue Forest" looks a lot like Snowpoint City, just as "Newtype" looks like Canalave.

Which also leads me to believe the routes extending north of them were the inspiration for Full Moon/New Moon Islands and Snowpoint Temple and Route 18/19 are proto-Route 219 meaning the cave entrance on there is probably proto-Coronet.

No fucking wonder they linked Gen 2 and 4.

This is actually...really neat. I hate the beta's idea of shrinking Kanto but this actually looks neat. As others said this would make for a neat romhack.

it's a very extended shrinked johto compared to the kanto in gs spaceworld

Please combine the 8 nip regions into a new one with a gym per region

It's just a fun exercise, like when people make mini parks in Roller Coaster Tycoon.
Plus it would be neat to play a romhack like this because it's basically the only way to do all regions in the GBC games.

It's not like Gamefreak is ever going to give us a huge game like that, anyway.

Keep in mind that in the Beta what we know as Johto is composed of different towns. It includes Silent Hills, Old Town, High Tech and West Town.

Kanto gym is literary Red, therefore it will be a Typeless Gym with Red having a with probably the Starters plus 2 other Pokemon. Maybe Pikachu to promote the new Anime but not 100% sure on that one cause when the game was being made the Anime just came out and they did not know if it was going to be a hit or not.
