My team for my last playthrough of Black was Scrafty, Sigilyph, Cofagrigus, Darmanitan, Galvantula and Excadrill. I'm telling ya, I've been playing Pokémon for a long assñ time but GenV is the one I feel like I'm training my true bros the most.

Good decision. I've always felt that the real gems of Gen 5 shine within the mid/late game, and the starters were holding you back from experiencing a truly solid team for your playthrough.

Brolurk. It's one of the few reasons I still watch the anime. I never would have thought Golurk could fucking fly and retract its arms and legs to shoot beams just from looking at its sprite. Probably wouldn't have tried teaching fly while it was in my party, either.

Golett's cool, too, since it can retract its limbs and basically become a sphere. Stay based, James Turner.

I fucking concur. Gen 5 had a boatload of great designs, and it's beyond sad to see those Pokemon waylaid because people would rather focus on the few bad ones

Serperior is utter garbage ingame but have the better design.
Samurott is the best ingame for both battle purposes and HM slave purposes.

The Leavanny line is my favorite I think.

It's sad; the Pokemon design quality hasn't really gone down since Gen5, but the game design definitely has.
