Is it the cave one? Because sure, its annoying, but if you fish twice each tile you are sure to get one under an hour.

Munchlax on the other hand (what i remember) you could only get it with the honey tree mechanic. Only a few of these trees sre capable of having a munchlax. Each game Id has different trees, and to add more randomness Munchlax has a 10% appearance rate i believe

Because I'd argue that there are probably less then maybe a 100 of them that were actually obtained legitimately that are still around.

Honestly it's Game Freak's fault. And to be fair it was only this year that we got official confirmation they're not considered legendary, so maybe some people haven't gotten the memo yet.

If you’re looking across all the games, I’d say Glameow is one of the rarest gicen that it’s only a normal route-mon in a single game of a single generation. It became apparent to me when I was completing the dex in W2 after the GTS Had shut down. I just checked and it seems that it’s hardly improved in availability since then.
