Yes, but his music has honestly been getting less memorable. Some of the better gen 7 battle themes like Ultra Beast and Gladion weren't even composed by him.

X&Y where stupidly profitable, and seeing the reation of the masses about Lets go i would say it will be a success too.

He is an incredible director for making those company decisions. Yeah, maybe he doesn’t care about the core fans, but from a buisness point he is really good

Kennedy did the same for Star Wars as Masuda did for pokemon. Made a ton of money, but alienated the fanbase like if brand- reception didn't matter anymore.
