I think the main problem is the story didn't grab me, the one kid is a literal fucking edgelord, and there aren't enough interesting pokes to build a team that I actually enjoy playing.

Ultra moon was so boring. I was depressed as fuck when I played XY and thought the games were underwhelming, but I still had fun breeding and trading and glitching and cheating for shiny Pokemon... Not so for ultra moon. It was just tapping a I felt like it was fire emblem and not the good ones, I mean the 80 minute of cut screen garbage GBA shit.

I finished all the trials, got to the part where I killed two of the legendary beast things and said "well this game has been shit and its not getting better" and now it's collecting dust
