So they are going to show more game play footage on E3 this month. My question is why even bother. The game is a gutted and watered down version of the original Yellow. Who would be excited for that?

So far they've confirmed the following.
>only the Original 151 + "some Alolan Pokemon" (likely just the Alola Forms) + Mystery Pokemon to tease Gen 8
>Kanto seems to be nearly 1:1 to the GB Games
>they specifically mentioned it was a YELLOW Remake, so the Sevii Islands are extremely unlikely especially since their whole draw was the Johtomons
>no random encounters, Pokemon just wander around mindlessly in the cluttered maps
>no Wild Pokemon Battles, instead you just walk up to them and throw a Ball at them like in GO
>online's been gutted severely with no Battle Spot, no Wondertrade or GTS, meaning you'll need to use Friend Codes like this is fucking Gen 4
>co-op mode which can easily be manhandled by a single player allowing for completely unfair 2v1 fights against enemy trainers
>the Box is now on your person at all times, effectively invalidating any need for planning out a team because you can just swap out on the fly, and chances are shoving a Pokemon in the box will still heal them, meaning recovery items are completely worthless when not in a battle that somehow requires you to use one
>game's been stated to be made with the intention of being accessible to GO Players and people who've somehow never played a Pokemon Game in their lives
