I don’t know about you, but fuck that cell phone. I thought it was shit back then and I think it’s shit now. I did miss the ability to change the music with the radio though, it could’ve been cooler with added tracks. Fuck, gen 3 even had gen 2 tracks in it. Would’ve been the perfect excuse

It had day and night, there was just no aesthetic difference and Pokemon weren't arbitrarily locked behind the time of day.

All that shit made competitive battles better (if you have gameshark to skip the breeding), but it completely ruined my enjoyment of the main adventure. I can't play anything past Crystal casually without feeling like my team is gimped.
