You know what I loved about Gen I - II?

It doesn't fuck around with the story too much.

It fucks you up right after you got through a hard obstacle.

Technically, he has. In various interviews across the net since the formal announcement of LGPE you'll see him going back and forth on whether it will influence Gen 8 or not. Sometimes he's said no, other times an emphatic yes, and others still he's declined to commit one way or the other. It couldn't be any less clear at this point how Gen 8 will turn out and as a consequence I hesitate to expect anything different from USUM.
