I thought Rowlett was super cute and Decidueye was the kind of starter I wanted long time ago after Greninja. Making a team with those two was a dream.

Also Ball Capsules were awesome.

this may count as negativity because it's a dropped feature, but I really loved the PSS and miss it so much
People hate on Gen VI so much, but the PSS made them feel so alive, like we were all on the journey together.

I'd say that PSS (and DexNav in ORAS) was the best thing about gen 6, even if the games overall are mediocre.

Also, I really like the aesthetic of Kalos, it's such a shame that they don't make a sort of Z version to expand it more.
Customization in Kalos was pretty nice despite not having that many selections, being the first game with it. It made me want to try changing clothes for my character every once in a while.

Playing through Crystal Clear and it's making me realize how much I love Johto and by extension, Pokemon as a whole.
I think the reason I'm so bent up about LGPE is because I just really love Pokemon, so it upsets me when I see Gamefreak making bad decisions or splitting the fanbase in two. For a while I was worried that I outgrew Pokemon because I'm nothing but critical of USUM and LGPE, but it's the opposite. I'm critical because I love Pokemon and legitimately want the games to be good.

I actually like all mainline pokemon games that I've played, but maybe it's because I skipped all first versions except BW and XY
If I had to rank them it would be like
>Great - BW2, Platinum, HGSS
>Good - USUM, Crystal, Emerald, ORAS, BW
>Alright - XY, FRLG, Yellow
