How long would it take to get a pokemon from gale of darkness, get them to the move tutor and bring them to sun and moon? I want a ralts with nightmare.

Bank is spotty on which GC exclusive moves it will let through, so it might not be possible

So you need to:
- Complete Gale of Darkness as well as G4 and G5 games to unlock the transfering process for these games.
- Consoles needed to run all games, including a DS that can run Pal Park and spare DS for Poke Transfer, as well as a GC to GBA cable to connect between Orre and Hoenn/Kanto
- Poke Bank account to pick up things from Generation V onwards

i am probably missing something but it will definitely take you a while to get shit done.

Considering only Shadow Pokemon can get perfect ribbon streak though, it might be worth it.

Transferring pic related from Gen 4 to Gen 7 was a pain in the ass. All I wanted was defog (before Ultra Sun).

The actual transfers themselves don't take that long maybe with the exception of 4-5 if your not that great at the game. As other anons have said though, Bank's pretty picky when it comes to those things which is gonna make everything kinda shit. You could try and delete the move in gen 5, transfer it to 7 and try to relearn it through move reminder if it doesn't want to go through bank but I'm not sure exactly how the move reminder in gen 7 works. I know they did some minor tweaks but that's about it.

I transferred my old ass team all the way from 2004/2005 recently.

All the way from Colosseum/XD to FireRed through GBA-GC connector -> FireRed to SoulSilver through DS GBA slot -> to Black -> to XY -> Poketransfer and Bank -> to USUM

Have the Earth Ribbon, Shadow Pokemon ribbon, every Hall of Fame Champ ribbon, all rare ribbons like the Royal Gorgeous and Legend Ribbon.

My fucking bros from when I was a little kid are with me throughout my entire Pokemon Journey
