All I remember is your friends were annoying but I couldn't name any of them, there were gimmicks everywhere that added nothing and megas which make an easy game easier. Your mileage vary on the mega designs a lot as well.
Say what you want about every other gen, it at least has some personality. X and Y are just sort of there, playing it either made me bored of mildly frustrated that i couldn't get on with shit.
