Please save your money if you already played SM. 95% the same story, just with a few new awful cutscenes replacing old cutscenes, and a little more post game content, like the awful battle agency, or rainbow rocket which was just some awful fanfic cutscenes and generic hallway simulator, and mantine fucking surf

There's no real reason we couldn't transfer from gen 3 to 5, but Gamefreak didn't allow that.

They completely ruing Lusimine and Lilly's relationship in these games; What was once a pretty heart touching story about Lusimine going mad because of the loss of her husband and led to her ruining her relationship with the rest of her family, now has a "Hyjacked by Gannon" moment with Necrozma.

Besides that they're a great improvement over base S&M, so yeah, they're worth it.

got it as a gift.
it's definitely better gameplay wise to SM because of it's difficulty (if you don't use exp share)
the story is absolutely ruined but besides that its a full pokemon game unlike SM
