We've known that since the announcement, you can use the joycon or ball to flick it or just "aim" by moving the controller and press A to throw. But you can't just press A without aiming or you'll miss. I'll bet you can't spin it to throw a curve-ball without using the joycon.

We already knew this.

They said this was to be a console experience meaning you wouldn't be using handheld.

And why Nintendo let them do this I've no idea. No game should be present on the Switch that only allows the use of one mode. If it's not switchable, it shouldn't be on the Switch, it's that simple.

it means youre probably moving the switch itself with your hands and then you tap A while youre moving it around for the momentum. to simulate a moving joycon. so when youre not docked, you actually have to constantly move the entire switch around

They might be making the trainers rebattleable. In pokemon infinite fusion when you walk in front of a trainer they still force you to battle like normal but after you beat them you can rebattle them as much as you want. I would love to see this in the official games

They defended the lack of new Pokemon with

Then they were shilling the games with their amazing graphics and going full 3D.
