>>35859713The interruptions arent as bad, the fade-outs are much faster. I noticed Island 2 is relatively interruption free, and when they're there, they're brief. Island 3 is pretty much completely open with minimal roadblocking, no more than the classic Pokémon games had.
I honestly can't remember how bad things were in the original S/M, but I went into US/UM expecting to hate it due to all the negativity sorrounding Gen 7 here, and I loved it. S/M feel like a beta by comparison.
And Episode Rainbow Rocket is unironically some of the best Pokémon stuff they've ever done. It's fanservicy as hell, but the trailers dont even do it justice, its truly just a delight to play with some actually challenging battles that stretch the single player adventure to the longest in the series by far. (Enemy teams and party were reaching/passing level 70 by the end of the game)
