I just saw the trealer of it, and the movie seems to put a huge focus on Gen 2 Pokemon. Sudowoodo, babymons, Totodile for the young trainer and even Lugia is the star of the movie (again).
I think it's actually can of neat if each movie in this "parallel universe canon" puts focus for each gen.
