You’re better off just SOS’ing. You could still go through a thousand eggs or so and not get it. SOS’ing I typically find a shiny within 100 KOs

I tried SOSing, that was an absolute pain in the ass even with an Adrenaline Orb, no calling for help or nobody showing up ten times in a row, running out of PP for my non-damaging moves, fucking Sand Tomb, other annoyances.

Its easier if you have someone with falseswipe to bring it to 1 HP. With Adrenaline Orb, itll call for help every round

There's some berries that you can farm in pelago that boost pp really easily. Thats what me and my friend always use. Throw a few pecha berries in there too while you're at it, just in case

Also, dont use non-damaging moves when trying to wait for it to call for help.

Use something like Revive, as it will cycle the round without using the item up

got 2 through SOS in 1 day. synchronize didnt work on the first one, but the second was modest. I used a modest sync alakazam with recycle, recover, substitute, and shadow ball. Equip was leppa berry. Recycle+leppa berry ensures it doesnt run out of pp, recover for hp, sub prevents sand tomb damage, and shadow ball is super effective so it increases chance of calling. IF alakazam is still squishy you can use x def or x sp def
Use foresight+false swipe to get it down to 1 hp(decidueye can do this). Use harvest+skill swap trevenant or exeggcute so the first palossand doesnt run out of pp.

You're using non-damaging moves trying to wait for it to call for help.

If you use an item like Revive however, itll tell you that the item has no effect, end you turn, but not use up the item
