(If I hadn't read this particular chapter over a decade ago I would have been giddy).
Just finished the Red/Blue arc, it was fun. It had more ideas cooking than it had pages to put them on, both with the characters and the details, but all the little deviations from the games and battle logic both taking environments into account and getting really interpretive (Substitutes go through psychic barriers? Okay.) kept me interested. Even managed to have Team Rocket consume MOST of the actors and plot points while still leaving room for funny one-off chapters.
Of course Red/Blue seems to be one of the most readily liked.
