I mean, I still think of "old man clown" first as that is what I started calling it when they gave us the silhouettes (and the official reveal gave basically no reason to stop calling it that, lol) but Mijumaru still absolutely comes to mind before Oshawott does.

And it's not even names, but words in general. Plenty of places in Canada still use both measurement systems, for example. The government going all in on metric doesn't mean I know my height in centimeters or weight in kilograms.
It's also "soft drinks", by the way, and would remain soft drinks for me if I moved regardless of whether or not people in the new place call them pop of soda etc.
