man pokemon was the shit. i hit some wall here and there like not knowing i had to go to cianwood after the lighthouse or having to go to goldenrod after the lake or rage
to this day i still remember some of the pokemon names and pokemon types in german of which i otherwise know how to count to 9 (except 4 i always forget)
