If the size of the Lucario is any indication of the size of the player, then it would be easy to survive by ripping tiny chunks off of the skin of the giant Pokémon and using them as food.

Well there is bound to be some sort of food source feeding dozens of large Pokemon, I'd probably try to use tracking to find my way there first, with a water source probably being near by.
