>>35866136>red/blueanime/manga aesthetics considered, this is the least disapointing, his proprtions arent jarring and everything is simple and to the point, his outfit is timeless, if not for the baggyness of his jacket. But i feel like it echoes the loose happy go lucky feel of a soon to be adventurer/champion. The watercolour diffusion is unique and pretty.
>Gold/silverI'd say a step away from what made the first one so great. The neck/head proportions and his fucking elephant thick calves just make it look strange. The pegs on his jacket and the strange folds appearing on his sleeves that contradict the fuller feel of the other sleeve throw things off. Flat watercolour work isn't bad but could use some kind of personality.
His confident even cocky expression is something i miss from future protagonists.
>ruby/sapphireautism.
Look at that derpy gritty smile and his fists clenched and held away from his body like that. What the fuck is he doing? What would you do if a friend had that pose for a photo? What a tard.
Artists fully moving over into vector and photoshop art so soon was a mistake for Gamefreak in particular. The art is flat and just look at the cloth bunching at the bottom!!! It's not veins its fucking pants artist! Wtf are you even doing!! Not to mention he looks like hes wearing snow gloves on his feet
>fr/lgArtist doesnt know how to draw pant folds for shit and made his jacket look like hes smuggling a piece of cardboard on his belly. The left backpack strap being so close to the middle of his chest makes the structure of his chest too small. His jeans are glow in the dark turquoise for some reason. Has what looks like greying hair (much like gen 1's audience)
>hg/sscharacters from here on out look like stick figures and rabbits had offspring and wear gel fabric clothes
>or/asSame problem as hg/ss except now someones spilled oil on his gel fabric clothes
