The people who complained about Ambush encounters, Pokemon running away like Wimpod or in the Safari, or having too low catch rates, or things like Take Down/status abilities/strong moves that make battling and catching too hard, or Pokémon being frustrating to breed, THESE so-called "hardcore fans" are the ones who caused this.
Now you just go right to the pokemon you want and grab it, problem solved. That'll be $60.
Now Game Freak thinks that a large portion of the main fanbase are on the same level of dumbfucks as GO, so here we are. We're probably going to get alternate releases from now on, one GO game for dumbfucks who kept complaining about GF's newer mechanics, and then a core game for the experienced players.
This might work out for the best though, if Game Freak really do at least make one game every other year tailored to returning players.
