It's a shame they didn't come up with Wingull sooner, if only because having a seagull pokemon feels like an obvious choice for beaches, oceans, and coastal routes.

it doesn't even have the typical seagull moves though, absolute garbage design
if it was actually based on a seagull it would be water/dark because those fuckers are too fat to fly half of the time or too lazy
and it would know moves like thief and uproar

Speaking of hacks, would you people consider it legit to use a hack with all the pokemon available to catch and see and just that to complete the dex in a single game? for example HGSS with all the pokemon being able to be obtained somehow in the same rom.

The gif he posted is from a hack definitively. I know solver like the back of my hand and that grass doesn't exist in the game at all. Also OP's pic doesn't exist in the vanilla silver rom either.

Yeah a bit larger would look better
Maybe a bit wider
Most bridges are 2 tiles wide in vanilla games, but obviously it is up to your personal choice.

It doesn't look like a bridge - rather, it looks like a landing stage for getting in/out of boats.
Actual bridges are far wider and have a railings.

What the hell kind of seagulls are you seeing?

I mean, yeah, you can often see them lying around areas where people are during the day but they are able and willing to fly just fine. They're thinner than most crows, for fuck sake and no bigger comparatively than a pigeon when equating their general size.

I am finishing all the games I have pending (stadium 1 some cups, stadium 2, colosseum main game half, some colosseums not unlocked yet, W2 is half finished, emerald which I rage quitted for reasons I don't remember but I'll finsih for the sake of completion, platinum since I also gave up by 2nd gym there, GoD) and try to complete a physical dex as much as possible, then seeing how I don't like new gens after 5, probably semi retire in hopes newer gens are better otherwise I am done.
So maybe I'll make a hack since I have plenty of free time.

Really though, i'm hopeful in the near future Wingull gets some kind of Albatross split evo that gets all of staraptors moves and stats and dive as a level up move and maybe another new high bp physical water move relating to spear fishing maybe..

a lot of water birds are known to shoot down into the water and stay underwater for some time. It's quite cool to watch while your out on the boat fishing with them.

I will release the source code once all the systems are implemented and the first hour or so of the game is done.

Right now I am having some fps issues, and I can't figure out whether or not it's due to shaders or the tiny 8x8 tiles. Might have to implement some meta tile system

I probably will start with some baby mode tier myself, I know jack shit about programming and all, so yeah. I guess I'll start with something easy then build up from there. Well yeah but right now I am hyped beating the games so maybe if you hold up until something around november, when I have probably dispatched everything in my list (Or maybe even less depending on how much I can stand playing 12 hours a day, it is not hard since it is pokemon but I have to take breaks anyway) and you need help still, I might be interested to join to learn.
