I gotta be honest. I dont' like the direction of the Let's Go games.

But I know I'm still going to buy them.

Anyone else dealing with this? I just can't see Let's Go in stores, on the eshop, and NOT just download an play.

I have a hard time justifying the talking shit now that I realized it desu

You guys should take this opportunity to try a new series. This game is not good and is not worth $60, and you know this, why are you willingly shackling yourself to this series? You've already played through Kanto, more than once. This game isn't going to give you anything new or different, you'll probably finish the game just loathing yourself.

Take this chance to branch out and play other games. Disgaea 5 is a fun RPG with a ton of content and customization, give it a try. Find a new passion, Pokemon is just going to keep letting you down, especially LGPE.

No, I'm genuinely not interested in LGPE. It features the most boring region, which won't be upgraded, and a severely limited roster of available pokemon. The battle system is toned down and parts of it are discarded. The games are meant to feed off of gen 1 nostalgia, which I don't have, and tie in to the GO games, which I haven't played. There's nothing here for me.

I couldn't justify not buying the game when the Lass is this hot, however I also can't justify buying a Switch specifically to play this game when there's nothing else I want to play on it. Because of this I can happily look at the game, walk past it and not have to buy it.

I feel a passing interest. Most optimal would be getting it second hand a couple years down the line. It's the kind of thing I would expect to maybe see at yardsales fairly often, lik a year after release. But by then I might care even less.

I own disgaea 5. Love Vegetogre. However, the repetitiveness of the gameplay kinda made me drop it.

wanted to buy yo-kai watch, but i find their release schedule annoying. Every time i’m going to buy a game, they are talking about the next release.

The hatred is overblown as always and the game will probably be fine overall since it's just Pokemon Go but with a story and trainer battles. Every single Pokémon game has been easy as shit and people are deluding themselves if they think they suddenly got easier, the only thing that's changed about this Pokémon is that isn't made specifically for casuals and literal 4 year olds.
